Off Your Rocker

Hello enthusiasts of the past

 

The refurbishing of the beautiful wooden rocking chair is complete with its wonderful coat of white paint and has already gone off to its new home!

Here is the BEFORE & AFTER photos of the lovely rocker 

 

We will be off bright and early tomorrow morning to hunt for some more vintage pieces to restore in the coming weeks, so we will keep you posted on that

This Sunday we will be returning to the Albury Sunday Markets to sell all of our vintage pieces.  The markets are located in the Wilson Street Car Park, Albury, NSW (23rd of June, 2013) We'd love to see you all there,

so come down and check out our stand!

Pickings and Choosings

Hello Vintage friends,

This week we share with you the finds of our past weekend; a rather mismatched bunch but still much loved! Here's some pictures for you to take a look for yourselves!

We've picked up some treasures including some furniture pieces we've really taken a liking too. Which also comes with the refurbishing side of the story. The most recent VR project is a beautiful old wooden rocking chair: Here is a BEFORE picture for you all:

Also just a friendly little reminder that we are loving all the hustle and bustle of both Etsy and Pinterest and would love any encouraging words and thoughts about both of our adventures.

Take Your Pick

The VR family survived another successful weekends picking, through a mixture of yard sales and a clearance sale, battling both the rain and the mud in the sure arrival of winter.

Here are some pictures of our pickings.

 

The highlights of the day were:

-          a beautiful blue meat safe

-          vintage Eon Canister Set

-          kooky kids table and chairs

-          an original 1940 ladies Speedwell

-          an 1930's Underwood typewriter

-          an assortment of tins

-          industrial Enamel lights

-          and a Marick portable clothes line
